Position Summary
As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in customers' homes. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, experienced in residential systems, and motivated to work in a performance-based environment with opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair residential HVAC system issues
Perform seasonal maintenance, tune-ups, and equipment inspections
Install, upgrade, or replace HVAC components and systems
Ensure all work complies with HVAC codes, safety standards, and company policies
Provide customers with clear explanations and service recommendations
Maintain accurate service records, inventory, and documentation
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential HVAC service
Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently and confidently in customer-facing environments
Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and an insurable record
