Position Summary
The HVAC Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. This role is ideal for a service-minded professional who enjoys diagnosing systems, interacting with customers, and working in a team environment with consistent year-round work.
Key Responsibilities
Perform residential HVAC maintenance according to company standards
Analyze and resolve customer concerns during maintenance visits
Document work performed and update maintenance records
Maintain communication with dispatch, supervisors, and installation teams
Keep company vehicle and personal tools clean and operational
Provide customers with system recommendations and service options
Stay current with industry trends and HVAC standards
Support team growth and process improvements across departments
Participate in on-call rotation and ongoing training programs
Qualifications
1–3 years of HVAC maintenance or service experience
High school diploma, GED, or completion of technical/trade school preferred
Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Physically capable of handling maintenance work and overtime when needed
Strong communication, customer service, and troubleshooting skills
Willingness to obtain necessary HVAC certifications (training provided)
