Position Summary
The HVAC Lead Installer is responsible for the expert installation of residential HVAC systems. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes
Review project specifications and collaborate with team members for accurate execution
Measure, cut, and fit ductwork, piping, and electrical components
Connect HVAC systems to existing infrastructure (ducts, wiring, controls)
Test systems for performance and troubleshoot as needed
Provide customers with system operation guidance and basic maintenance tips
Maintain safety standards and follow all company procedures
Complete accurate and timely documentation including work orders and inspection reports
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (HVAC vocational training preferred)
Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or in a similar role
Familiarity with HVAC systems, local building codes, and safety regulations
Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
Proficient with standard HVAC tools and equipment
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and insurable record
